Free Health

Philippians 4:19-20 "And my God  will supply all your needs according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Now to our God and Father be glory forever and ever.  Amen."

God wasn’t joking when He said He would give us everything we need. He literally gives us everything. We just need to know where to look and be open to receiving it. Over time, I’ve discovered some amazing habits of health and healing that have truly blessed my life. And I’m always on the lookout for more! I can’t wait to share them with you. Each one comes with resources so you can dive deeper if something resonates with you. Let’s walk this journey of discovery together, trusting that God's already provided what we need.

Charge Your Battery

What does 'Charge Your Battery' mean? Let's take a look at health from an electrical point of view. The human body is an electrical system. Every cell operates through electrical signals, and your overall vitality is directly influenced by your cellular charge. When your cells are charged, your body has the energy it needs to heal, regenerate, and function optimally. But when your battery is drained or energy is low, often due to stress, toxins, poor nutrition, or emotional suppression, energy flow is disrupted, and symptoms can appear. Similar to a battery, the human body needs regular recharging to maintain optimal energy and function.

Nature can be thought of as our natural charging station. You can picture our feet as the negative terminal of our battery. When we stand barefoot on the earth, we receive negatively charged electrons from the ground, leaving us feeling grounded, supported and energized. Our head can be thought of as the positive terminal of our battery. From the sun we receive positively charged protons, which is one reason gentle sunlight can feel so refreshing and peaceful. Together these ascending and descending currents continuously circulate through and around the body forming a toroidal field, this is our biofield.

Charging your battery isn’t about doing more; it’s about reconnecting to what nourishes you at the cellular level: rest, charged water, grounding, breath, emotional flow... These practices restore your natural energy field and charge your body by supporting resilience, clarity, and healing from the inside out.

Based on the work of Eileen McKusick: How To Raise Your Voltage Prioritize Restful Sleep (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM) The body's most important repair work happens when sleep aligns with the body's natural circadian rhythm. Sleeping from ~10:00 PM to ~6:00 AM to supports hormonal balance, cellular renewal, and emotional regulation. If we stay up too late and get that second wind, our cortisol spikes which reduces healing potential. Sleep and rest are the most powerful ways to recharge your battery. Also as Christ followers we are called to honor the Sabbath with rest. God modeled it for us. Work 6 days, rest on the 7th. It is the innate rhythm set in place by God. The Sabbath is not meant to be a burden, but a gift of sacred time set apart to grow closer to God. And guess what, it restores and 'recharges' our body, mind and soul! Earthing / Grounding Direct contact with the Earth restores balance to the body’s electromagnetic field. Walking outside barefoot for 20 minutes a day is most beneficial. Regular grounding practices significantly reduce systemic inflammation and support autonomic nervous system regulation. If you can't go for a walk sit in a chair with your feet directly on the ground. Rubber soles are an insulator, blocking the electromagnetic field, take them off whenever possible! Even better would be to lay fully on the ground with as much skin touching as possible. The earth is full of electrons available for us! Integrate Deep Breathing Intentional deep breathing enhances energetic flow while charging your battery. An extended exhale is also the quickest way to calm your nervous system and bring your body back into peace. Inhale for a count of 4 exhale a count of 6. Notice your body start to shift. Deep breathing also stimulates the lymphatic system (our drainage and detox system) through the pumping action of your diaphragm. The Art of Gracious Receiving When someone offers you a compliment, gratitude, or focused attention, they are giving you a gift of energy in the form of electrons. Don’t dismiss or brush off these compliments. Receiving with openness and gratitude honors the person who is giving and allows that positive energy to circulate rather than be blocked. Love, gratitude, and sincere attention function as 'energy currency', replenishing your own field with vital electrons. “Gracious receiving gives dignity to the act of giving.”  -Eileen Mckusick Consume Clean, Structured Water We need adequate hydration because water is involved in nearly every significant bodily function. Structured water is found to be more hydrating and energy efficient. You can easily make structured water by exposing it to the photons from sunlight or moonlight. You can add fresh fruits or herbs to your water. I love lemon and basil or mint. Herbal tea is a wonderful way to add minerals & nutrients to your water. John Stuart Reid suggests another way to create structured water is by filling a blender with clean drinking water, turn it on for 30 seconds to generate a spiraling vortex, which also oxygenates the water. Then gently warm the water in a pan to body temperature (approximately 98.6°F), being careful not to overheat. Transfer the water into a covered glass container and allow it to rest overnight. The next day, enjoy beautifully structured, energetically enhanced water to support hydration and vitality. Nourish the Body with Whole Foods Plain and simple: Eat Real Food. Whole, minimally processed foods provide the vital nutrients and life force necessary for cellular health and sustained vitality. Whenever possible, choose foods in their natural state, as God has so abundantly provided them. Allow Emotions to Pass Through Rather Than Suppressing Them. We are emotional beings by design. Our emotions aren't meant to punish or overwhelm us. Emotions let us know that something needs our attention and invite us to bring it to God so He can guide us back into alignment with His path for our life. The problem is we're not taught how to process emotions. Emotions are energy in motion meant to rise peak, drop off and be released. When an emotion arises, acknowledge it and observe it. Ask yourself, "What am I feeling?" Name it. "I am feeling..." God is not offended by your honesty. He wants a real relationship with you! Allow it. Embrace it. Notice where in your body you feel it? And ask yourself, "What is this emotion trying to teach me? Then surrender and release. Pray, journal, shake and roar! Speak your truth Speak truth from a heart of love. When your voice is held back or unheard, it can create emotional tension. But when you express yourself openly and respectfully, you create space for understanding and healing. Let laughter and tears come as they need to, both are natural and necessary. Your voice matters, and honoring it is a vital part of living fully and freely. Vocal Toning and Singing Vocal toning or singing stimulates the vagus nerve, reduces stress, and increase feelings of well-being. These vocal practices create internal resonance, stimulating the body through vibrational energy. Sound expressed through the voice generates energy from the inside out, enhancing vitality, emotional release, and cellular coherence. Regular vocal expression is a fun and powerful way to bring healing to both your energetic and physical well-being. Try sounding out the vowels and see where you feel them. A-E-I-O-U. Choose “Ahh” Over “Ugh” When faced with a choice, take a moment to check in with yourself.  If you feel a sense of “Ahh,” it it means you’re aligned, and the task will flow more easily.  On the other hand, if you feel “Ugh,” its a sign that it will be draining to your energy and require more effort. Trust your body, learn to listen to it, and do what it says!

Manual Lymphatic Drainage

Signs of Congested Lymph

Sore / Stiff in the mornings

Rings get tight on fingers

Dry, Itchy Skin / Acne

Feeling Tired / Hypersensitive

Mild headaches / Brain Fog

Weight Gain/ Extra Belly Fat/ Constpation

Swollen Glands / Elevated Allergies / Low Immunity

Liberating your lymph is a choice!

The lymphatic system is the drainage and detox system. It removes the waste from every cell in your body. If you think of the Lymphatic system as the drains in your sink and your blood as the faucets, pouring all the wonderful oxygen and nutrients throughout our body, if your drains get clogged in the sink do you only look at an issue with the faucet? I would hope not! You need to clean and clear out the drains to get your sink optimally flowing again. Its the same with our bodies. If our lymph is clogged, like many of ours is, we need to stimulate our lymphatic system. The blood is pumped from the heart, but we are the pump for the lymph. Luckily, God has given us very simple and free techniques we can do daily to assist our drainage system and start to look and feel so much healthier.

Our personal testimony on how powerful Manual Lymphatic Drainage can be

My husband, Bronson, and I had the opportunity to go to Brazil on a missions trip through our

church in the fall of 2025. On the trip that had gone down the previous spring, unfortunately everyone

got very sick. So heading to Brazil, that was a big concern of ours. We did not want to get sick down there.

We prayed every day for a hedge of protection around our immune systems, and we also practiced

manual lymphatic drainage about 3–4 times a day.

From our interpreter, to the people we were encouraging, even the man we traveled down with,

EVERYONE around us was sick.

But thank you Jesus, Bronson and I never got sick!

Manual lymphatic drainage is another mind-blowing, free, and simple gift from God that supports our health.

I just love sharing these 'Gifts from God' as I call them.

This is one of my favorite Manual Lymphatic Drainage videos, featuring Dr. Kelly Sturm, a knowledgeable practitioner with a wealth of content on her YouTube channel, Cancer Rehab PT.

I have been adding this routine in the shower. By applying the soap in the same order and techniques you're opening up the lymph nodes. Then you can use your towel to dry yourself off using the light sweeping movements in the same way to get the lymph fluid flowing. You will only need to watch the video a couple times to get the gist of it. Then you can do it anywhere. Laying in bed is another great place. You can raise your arms & legs and let gravity assist you even more. Stimulating your lymph before a hike or physical activity significantly enhances lymph flow and circulation. I cant say enough good about Manual Lymphatic Drainage!
